Wednesday 2nd July 2008 11am:
It is with great sorrow and grief that we announce the death of Mrs Suzanne Harouche a special, humble and kind woman.
Funeral was Wednesday the 2nd of July 2008 at 11am in the Springvale Jewish Cemetery.
Memorial service was conducted in the same evening at 6:30pm in our Sassoon Yehuda Sephardi Synagogue 79 Hotham Street, East St Kilda Victoria 3183
We wish her husband Albert, his children Ginette and Jacques and the entire family arichut yamim/long life, Amen.

1st Day of Shavu'oot Shahrit 9:00am followed by Mussaf service and milk kiddush
(Monday 9 June 2008) Best Bikkurim Basket competition will begin before before the Kiddush. Children to bring their baskets on Sunday the 8th of June between 8:30am and 9:30am.
  Minhah 4:45pm Followed by 2nd Day Shavu'oot Aarbit
  Yomtov Candle lighting not before 5:50pm
 
2nd Day of Shavu'oot Shahrit 9:00am Followed by Mussaf and milk Kiddush

It is with great sorrow and grief that we announce the passing away of Mrs Lolah Casson (nee Brakhah) on the last Shabbat Yom Tov Shevi'ii shel Pessah. The funeral was held Thursday 1st May 2008 at 1:00 pm at the Springvale Jewish Cemetry .

Shi'uurim
IYH, we will be celebrating Pessah this year from Sunday the 20th April 2008 till Sunday the 27th April 2008. The first seder night will fall on Motsaei Shabbat.
Shi'uurim regarding Pessah are scheduled on the following dates in our Synagogue 79 Hotham Street, East St Kilda 3183:
1)Wednesday 2 April 2008 8pm, - Pictures here...

3)Wednesday 16 April 2008 8pm,
The Shi'uurim will be conducted in English and will be based on Yalkut Yosef. As the first seder night will fall on Motsaei Shabbat, the aspects on how to handle the Hametz on Shabbat Erev Pessah will be discussed.
Men and women are invited.

Shahrit service will begin at 8:30am and will be followed by breakfast and dvar Torah.

It is with great sorrow and grief that we announce the passing away in Israel of Moshe Ben Hayim obm, the father of our dear friend Yehuda Mizrahi.
Memorial service will be held on Thursday the 28th of February 2008 at 7:30pm in our synagogue:The Sassoon Yehuda Sephardi Synagogue 79 Hotham Street, East St Kilda Melbourne Victoria 3183.

The brit will be held IYH on Friday 25th of Jan, 7:45am at their home, 14a Roselyn Crescent, East Bentleigh.
